Papain is an enzyme extracted from the papaya fruit. It has been proven to be highly effective in rapidly peeling away the dead cells that give our skin a dull, lifeless and lined appearance with associated blemishes and dryness. It helps nature along by speeding up the natural peeling process of the skin. In this way it reveals instead the underneath layer of beautiful, moisture laden skin with the appearance of fewer lines and a very definite younger look. Results will vary between good and excellent but will never be non-existent or poor. It is extremely gentle on the skin and can therefore be applied to all skin types including sensitive, acne and skin that reacts badly to Fruit Acids eg. dark to black skin.
